You’ll find the flavour of the sea in Torrevieja’s cooking. The “arroz caldero” is the typical dish. Its essential ingredients are rice and fish. Grilled sardines, rice with anchovy, cooked mackerel, ray, sea bream and codfish are other delicacies you can eat in Torrevieja’s restaurants. It may not be so easy to find “pelotas” – meat balls, one of the famous meals of the Costa Blanca in restaurants.
